Lago Martiánez is located in Puerto de la Cruz and is a set of artificial open-air pools next to the sea. It has a solarium area so you can enjoy the sun after each swim in any of its three areas: San Telmo, Los Alisios and El Lago.
The Los Alisios pools have a raised bar and a jacuzzi, although the most popular is El Lago. It has about 15,000m2 and five islands inside and a dedicated solarium area. One of them has a restaurant and a party room below sea level. A shallow pool is reserved for little ones.
The pools use seawater but one is heated to allow swimming 365 days a year.
Spending the day at this attraction is not expensive. A single ticket is €5.50 for adults and €2.50 for non-resident children up to 10 years old. Residents of Puerto de la Cruz can enter for €3 for adults and €1.50 for children.
Lago Martiánez opens every day in summer from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. and the rest of the year from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
