The sky is still cloudy but there are patches of blue and they are actually BLUE not dirty brown so perhaps the calima has finally gone. It is 23°C and there is the slightest breeze so it feels nice this morning and not the excessive heat of the past few days.
The calima continued and yesterday’s sky had a dirty and fuzzy look. It remained very hot with shade temperatures in the high 20s and low 30s. Down in the resorts, Playa Las Vistas and Playa El Camison had bathing stopped due to rough seas but if you look at the timelapse on the webcam for yesterday you can see only the yellow flag was flying. Shortly after I posted on Tenerife 4 All the message came back that the road in Las Galletas was closed due to flooding.
