Santa Cruz is a city that doesn’t stop. Despite the months old “tickets sold out” sign for Pablo López this Saturday There are numerous other activities for the whole family that will be taking place over the weekend.

A few that caught my eye are below:

In the Parque Bulevar Shopping Centre, Friday and Saturday from 18:00 the animation and puppets of Garabatos-K arrive. On Friday the performance is called “Cuida tus calles” (Take care of your streets) and Saturday “El burrito y su lecherita” (Little donkey in the dairy) will be performed.

Also on Saturday at the Círculo de Bellas Artes, at 5:00 p.m., the family show “Makaluko the world of imagination” will take place, a story where light and effects transport viewers through approximately 90 minutes to a wonderful world.

Staying with the museum on Sunday at 7:30 p.m. a show comprising music and dance “Takten” is a creation arising from the collaboration between the pianist Esther Ropón and the dancer Carmen Macías.

“Santa Cruz at ease with Dorada” begins Friday, at 6:00 p.m. in the Plaza de la Candelaria, and will be followed by the Russian World Cup match between Portugal and Spain at 7:00 p.m. on a giant screen, after which will be performances by Ni 1 Pelo de Tonto.  On Saturday, at the same time, live music by tribute bands such as A Contratiempo, Barco a Venus (20:00 hours) and Escuela de Calor (22:00 hours). The days on which there are scheduled activities are 20, 22, 23, 25, 29 and 30 of June, and 1, 6, 7, 10, 14 and 15 of July, date of the final. More Info HERE
