This morning the blue that stretches into the horizon is broken only by transitory wisps of white and the land is bathed in brilliant summer sunlight – Let’s hope it stays and doesn’t once again change its mind and bring in more cloud.
Yesterday we travelled through those micro-climates that everyone likes to talk about when mentioning Tenerife weather. Our girls needed haircuts so we left Chayofa in thick cloud and travelled along the motorway to Los Cordones where the sun was scorching your eyes out. There was however a very strong wind, so strong it blew a builders metal gate down next door to the peluquería. A couple of hours later arriving home there was still thick cloud but not even a light breeze.
