I watched the grey clouds of morning, turn to pink then slowly drift away leaving a blue sky. The sun at first weak touched the mountain then finally woke and became shiny and bright the shadows dark and strong. Despite it taking an hour for it to happen, temperatures remained constant at 23°C.
The sun didn’t shine much yesterday and it remained overcast but pleasantly warm rather than stiflingly hot with a shade temperature of 28°C. Then around teatime the sun finally broke through and we had a lovely evening.
