Weather 11th July 2017 – Los Cristianos/Las Americas

Yet again a cloudy morning but nowhere near as cloudy as yesterday. We do have sunshine albeit a bit on the weak side but temperatures are already over 24°C so I’m reasonably confident in predicting a hot day. 🙂

Yesterday morning was most unseasonable, here in the south, we had cloudy skies, and it took until noon before they eventually drifted away and we were left with a breezy but sunny afternoon with temperatures averaging 27°C.

Aemet published a satellite image showing abundant low cloud and some drizzle enveloping the archipelago and a few folk reported on Facebook that there was rain in parts of the north, probably showers as nobody said it was teaming down, nevertheless not really what you expect mid-July.
