The City Council of Arona has launched an extensive program of activities for the summer that, from July to September, will tour the neighbourhoods of the municipality and expects to reach more than a thousand people.
The program includes classes in healthy kitchen, aqua gym, cinema, or initiatives of coexistence. Among the novelties of this new summer edition are the workshops for improvement of the pelvic floor.
Councillor for seniors, Pura Martín, explains, “We have made a firm commitment to promote healthy leisure initiatives and physical and emotional improvement for our elders. The councilwoman emphasizes, as one of the differentiating elements of the aronero program, was that “we want to help the older people of Arona feel integrated in their community”.
The majority of activities are free, will tour the 9 major centres of the municipality, with proposals almost daily, and will also include computer training, cognitive stimulation, musical expression, literacy, crafts, manicure, beach gymnastics, or adapted sports.
