If we want to get to know this area from a different standpoint, we should stop at places away from the beaten track of tourists, but which nonetheless have unparalleled charm. Taking the Camino Largo, we leave behind us a beautiful avenue of palm trees and design homes set in a really luxurious residential area. At the end of Camino Largo, we can take the road which ascends to Mesa Mota, a park where the locals usually go to have barbeques on weekends.

Getting there on foot is an excellent option for those who want to enjoy the scenery as they ascend. Once up there, we recommend you cross the entire park and head for its lookout point, where we can enjoy one of the best views of the historical city centre and of the splendour of its surrounding countryside.
