Compañía Cervecera de Canarias launches a new variety of premium beer Dorada Especial Esencia Negra, aimed at pleasing the most exquisite palates.
The presentation of this new beer was made this morning at an event organized in the Hotel Mencey Santa Cruz, where, a blind tasting took place directed by Brewmaster Félix Guío and the Specialist in the area of quality Carmen Dolores Herrera.
Dorada Especial Esencia Negra is a lager type beer that uses low fermentation yeast along with ingredients of provenance, among which are two types of toasted malt and two types of hops, which are responsible for the colour and flavour. The result is a black beer but unlike traditional stout, is softer, and in line with Canarian consumer preferences, with a perfect balance between sweetness and bitterness and with the right intensity for the most select palates. Likewise, its aroma is associated with roasted malt and caramel. Its taste makes it an exceptional companion for meals with body such as roasts, very spicy or sweet recipes, and strong cheeses.
With the launch of Dorada Especial Esencia Negra, Compañía Cervecera de Canarias once again reaffirms its commitment to Canarian gastronomy.
