32% of the Canary Islands GDP comes from tourism, an activity whose benefits extend to others such as trade, transport, construction, agriculture or industry. This is one of our main economic activities, which the Cabildo, through Turismo de Tenerife, has made known through the new awareness campaign # I am Tenerife .

The initiative has a website: www.yosoytenerife.com  where users can view the videos produced to support the initiative, as well as the Decalogue – 10 things that tourism brings to the island and the islanders, plus a Section for Training. It has also has a facebook profile: www.facebook.com/YosoyTenerife , which encourages people to participate, comment and share what makes them feel they are Tenerife.
