Weather 25th April 2017, Los Cristianos/Las Americas

This morning, an azure sky hangs overhead, temperatures are 20°C, and like syrup on a pudding, golden light dribbles over the land. If I can wake my girls I think it would be an ideal time to go for a walk.

By 10.30 yesterday, the big black clouds just in front of my house headed out to sea and left a blue sky with just a few fluffy wisps of white in it. Shortly after, the sun came out, adding a touch of fire, and lighting up the sky. However, by 3.00pm those pesky clouds were back as dull and grey as they were first thing in the morning and while where we live, we could feel dampness in the air and the washing took forever to dry, it certainly looked as if someone higher up the mountain was getting rain.
