Mirador de Ayosa

Driving up the TF-24 road going from La Laguna towards El Portillo the visitor will find the Ayosa viewpoint, named after a nearby mountain, at kilometre 28.

A panoramic view of the La Orotava valley can be seen from that spot, and even the island of La Palma on a clear day. Free parking is available.

On clear and bright days you can glimpse the incredible Valley of La Orotava, in the background the island of La Palma and left the Teno mountain. In summer very often the presence of trade winds means much of the valley is covered by a stunning sea of clouds.Ideal to photograph and take a memory of this phenomenon meteorological. In addition, you can see ravines and volcanoes that have become typical elements of the landscape since the last eruption and the effect of the erosion.
