It is a lovely morning, the sky is blue, and the sunlight is shining through the kitchen window, spreading across the tiled floor like honey. Temperatures are 17°C, cool yes but this time yesterday it was only 8.00am (if you follow my drift) so we will soon get used to it.
It took until 10.00am for the sun to beat the battle over the clouds and then it was a true victory as it came through brilliantly until around 3.00pm when it clouded over again, there was a variable wind which made our walk feel quite chilly and temperatures for the day averaged a mere 20°C.
The Spanish State Meteorological Agency are forecasting that here in the south next week we should have a lovely week, just a few light clouds and plenty of sunshine. Similarly, in Puerto de la Cruz for the most part the weather looks good, with the odd shower perhaps this evening and again tomorrow, otherwise a bright and sunny week.
