With 150,000 people expected to attend the Los Cristianos International Carnival from 17 to 27 March it is no surprise that more than 200 people will participate in security and emergency operations

The security and emergency personnel will join the more than 6,000 people who are going to participate directly in the different acts, either backstage or in the parades and galas. In the Coso alone more than 3,000 people will participate plus more than 300 people who will work in cleaning.

For ten days, 25 different events will be held. All will be free.

The party will have three stages, located in the Plaza de la Pescadora, by the Cultural Centre and the main Carnival, which, as is tradition, will be located on the boulevard Chajofe.

This main stage of the Carnival grounds for the first time will have tiered bleachers installed. This will allow about 1,500 seats in four galas. The stands will be installed on Sunday 19 and will be dismantled for the Carnival of Day.

In the meantime, enjoy the official song “Carnival Poker performed by Tenerife singer Míriam Reyes.
