If you haven’t decided on your holiday destination yet, then why not visit Tenerife? Our favourite island has so much to offer, whatever your tastes or pocket. We’ve put together some of the top five good reasons why you should choose the island of Tenerife for your next holiday.

Visit Tenerife For The Weather!

Regardless of the time of year when you choose to visit Tenerife, you can be sure that the weather will be mild and temperate. Holidays in Tenerife are guaranteed to be pleasant throughout the year, whether you enjoy beach activities, want to get in plenty of shopping, or you simply enjoy touring around and looking at the scenery.

In fact, considering that Tenerife is just a short flight from the UK, it’s one of the most exotic places you can visit for your holiday without having to endure the discomfort of a long haul flight.

Visit Tenerife for the Kids!

The Spanish culture is very welcoming to children, and Tenerife is no exception. You’ll find that many of the cafes and restaurants are child-friendly, and that many of the hotels have special kids’ clubs to keep the children entertained… allowing you some well-earned relaxation time!

If you are particularly interested in having a hotel with a kids’ club, please be advised that you should check with the hotel to make sure they have what you’re looking for before you finalise your booking. While most hotels that offer kids’ clubs cater for a range of age groups, you may find that some of them don’t look after very small babies or they don’t look after teenage children.

When you are out and about in Tenerife, if you visit Siam Park you’ll find that many of the rides are reproduced in miniature, specially for small children. Many of Tenerife’s beaches are also suitable for young children, with gentle waters just right for paddling.

Visit Tenerife for the Night Life!

Tenerife is, of course, well-known for its vibrant nightlife. If you’re holidaying in or around Playa de las Americas you’ll find the liveliest of bars and clubs, many of which offer dancing until dawn. If you want something a bit more sophisticated, there is a more ‘grown up’, chic nightlife to be found in the capital of Santa Cruz on the north of the island, as well as Puerto de la Cruz.

Visit Tenerife for the Food!

One of the joys of holidays in Tenerife is experiencing varied cuisine and enjoying good food. Whether you want to enjoy typically Spanish tapas, stick purely to English food, or go for some international cuisine, you’ll find dishes from around the world readily available.

Visit Tenerife for the Scenery!

You’ll be surprised just how much diverse scenery there is in Tenerife. For such a small island you can experience tropical forests, exotic beaches, snow-capped mountains and alien-like volcanic landscapes, all within a few miles of each other. There are not many places on Earth where you can find roads blocked by snow when you are halfway up a mountain in the morning, then head down and be sunbathing on the beach or swimming in the pool in the afternoon.

Tenerife Fiestas

Of course, there are plenty more reasons to enjoy Tenerife than just these! What about its many Blue Flag accredited beaches, for example? Or its range of sporting facilities? We’re positive you’ll be spoiled for choice!
