I peer out over the balcony – it is chilly – 16°C and watch the dark colour of the sky fade away as morning fully arrived. Pinks, yellows, and reds disappeared first, overtaken by the greyness of the clouds that currently dominates the morning sky. Let’s hope that among those colours there is a blue to follow.
We were forecast rain yesterday, and although we didn’t see any, from time to time it was overcast. Temperatures were high for the time of year, 25°C so the only thing missing was sunshine. Well that was until 4.00pm when it came out brighter than ever. It made the sea sparkle as its golden light rippled over the water. Strange when La Gomera is particularly clear when our weather isn’t at its best.
