It is a lovely clear morning, so clear that La Gomera is sparkling on the horizon. There are some clouds, and not much sunshine yet but it looks as if it is going to be a nice day. At the moment a bit chilly at 17°C but it is still early.
What confused weather we had yesterday. The following pictures were all taken within seconds of each other from my house, showing the front, the east, and the west. By 5.00pm there was an edge to the wind making it feel cool but for the most part temperatures for the day had only been in the low 20s.
Next week’s forecast here in Adeje/Arona look as if they will fluctuate between sunshine and cloud, although there is an 85-95% (wow that is quite high) chance of rain from Tuesday afternoon through Wednesday before it brightens up once again. Temperatures should reach high teens, low 20s. While in Puerto de la Cruz, following a few clouds this morning the sun should shine. There is a 50-70% chance of seeing drizzle tomorrow and Tuesday. The middle section of the week looks a mixture of cloud and sunshine before the weekend when there is once again a chance of few drops of rain here and there. Daytime temperatures all the while should be around 18-19°C.
