It is 18°C and a very miserable morning. The sky is filled with ominous grey clouds with no break for the sun to get through should it want to. The sort of day when in the UK we would curl up in front of a roaring fire and watch Sunday afternoon films on the telly. Sadly no fire here.
Yesterday didn’t fulfil the promise of early morning. While starting bright but hazy with a few clouds, after lunch the sky turned into a heavy grey mass the air cooled and temperatures struggled to reach 20°C.
The forecast for next week here in the south is very mixed with a 70-80% chance of showers from mid-week onwards. In Puerto de la Cruz, a predominantly grey week can be expected with a 55-90% chance of rain. Temperatures both north and south look cool with the average in the high teens.
