Weather 8th January 2017 – Los Cristianos/Las Americas

It might be 22°C but the wind is still buffeting the house so the chill factor makes it feel a lot cooler. There are currently no weather warnings so perhaps that is a sign that things are going to get back to normal. However, the sun is struggling to get through the morning cloud.

Yesterday the sun came out around 10.00am obviously having a lie in, as it’s the weekend. However, the wind also increased and gusts swept up the streets and made the clothes on the line blow like flags. Once again, if you found a sheltered spot it was nice but despite the picture looking lovely, it felt bitterly cold.

Next week’s forecast for the south is a mixture of sunshine and cloud with the possibility of a shower on Thursday while in the north it is a similar picture, but the chance of showers increases to between 65-70% on Wednesday as well as Thursday.

Hi love looking at your reports. Thinking of coming in March, what is the weather like then.

Your face is familiar, where abouts in the UK do you come from?

    • Thanks for your comments Pat, unfortunately even the professionals only forecast for 7 days and often get it wrong, so I have no chance. I doubt you would recognise me from the UK as I used to be my natural hair colour which was almost black. 🙂
