The Teide, the world’s eighth visited site on Google Views

With a total of 8.6 million visits, the icon of the island, Teide National Park is the world’s eighth place visited by Google users by Street View an application available through Google Maps and on mobile devices.

The Minister of Tourism of the Cabildo, Alberto Bernabé, stressed that “thanks to this tool, those wishing to explore Teide National Park can get to know it in a new way”.

Turismo de Tenerife support this application and have developed a collection of more than 300 panoramic images of Teide, so that the user can take a virtual tour by the National Park as if it were physically there.
