The first orange hued rays of sunrise kiss the still dust-laden air. The sea no longer an abyss of black looks a metallic grey, glistening as the light pierces through the clouds and danced over the surface and while it may be a new year, we still have the same old strong wind with us. As I write, the sun has barely risen and all around is subdued and quiet.
Yesterday turn into a beautiful day to end the year. The sun shone, the temperatures were between 23°C and 25°C for most of the time, and although still there, watching the fireworks from the seafront in Los Cristianos the wind was warm.
The forecast for next week both the north and south is for some cloudy intervals interspersed with the sunshine. There may be a couple of days when showers threaten but at less than 50%, the chance of them actually being in the resorts is pretty unlikely.
