Yesterday morning everyone woke up excited, and hurriedly got dressed. The day had arrived when the older children and staff of the Centro de Dia Guaidyl were heading to Santa Cruz.
Everyone wants an appropriate present, especially on Kings Day, so by 10.00am everybody was ready and waiting for the coach.
Each child had been given some money to buy something to open on 6th January, by Amigos de Gillian Banks children’s charity. Naturally, Primark was popular for those who wanted the latest fashion look.
With everyone loaded down by carrier bags, from the Meridiano CC, the group headed to McDonalds for some very Happy Meals before finally returning to the coach, where they found they had also received gifts from Sue Hyde and Sharon Hutchinson.
So thank you both. It sounds like the children of Guaidyl are going to have a wonderful Kings Day.
