Mírame Televisión Canarias, Bomberos de Tenerife and the Red Cross this Christmas once again organise the initiative #ReyesparaTodos, with the support of the Island Council and the City of Santa Cruz. The Plaza del Principe will this year host the event on December 23rd when toys are collected for needy Canary families in the archipelago.
It is hoped to exceed last year’s appeal, where more than 60,000 gifts were collected in an event that brought together more than 15,000 people who came to the Flower Clock del Parque García Sanabria to donate.
#ReyesparaTodos is the effort of Mírame Televisión Canarias, Bomberos de Tenerife and the Red Cross , who collect donations and distribute among those who are in most need. With the support of hundreds of NGOs and the collaboration of tienrfeño Cabildo and the city of Santa Cruz. The collection is also backed by large companies that facilitate the logistics of the event to move, for example, gifts to other parts of the archipelago.
The group will turn this charity event into a celebration of generosity, with musical performances plus antique cars, vans loaded with gifts, children’s street musicians, dancing groups, street musicians and children’s characters.
For one day of the year, the public in the city are not concentrating on Christmas shopping.
