Weather 11th December 2016 – Los Cristianos/Las Americas

It seems an age since I last looked at the morning weather from my own home rather than my daughters in the UK or one of several hotels in Thailand. It was all very enjoyable, and no doubt, after the cases are unpacked and all the washing done, I will be telling everyone who reads Red Queen Musings all about it. However, today it is good to be looking at a Tenerife sky that is virtually cloudless, with the sun touching the mountain and the sea sparkling in the distance.  Bliss.

The forecast for next week, here in Adeje / Arona suggests there may be a light shower tomorrow and Tuesday interspersed with a few clouds. In Puerto de la Cruz the picture varies from 60 – 85% for a showery week with Tuesday being the only totally dry day apart from today.

Welcome back. It seems as if your gone forever. I really missed my morning email even though I’m not going to Tenerife until March.

You mentioned recently that your husband went to the “Green hospital” because of the danger of language problems. My husband has had a few problems lately and if we are going for a month I’d like to know where it is. I know where the one in Chafona is.

Delighted to have you back again.

    • Good morning Kathryn, thank you for your kind comments. The ‘Green’ Hospital is actually called Hospiten Sur and is in Las Americas. If you know the Columbus Hotel and the Football Stadium it is set back on that road.
