Weather 16th November 2016 – Los Cristianos/Las Americas

This morning although sunny and clear is cooler than it has been of late.  Temperatures are 18°C and just that 2 or 3 degrees drop makes it feel quite autumnal. Very nice but think today may call for socks – but only MAY as the weather can fool us and change  quickly.

Wind back to yesterday. ….. It is hard to believe that it is November and some of the islands were on an Orange alert for bad weather.  By way of contrast, yesterday here in the south was a scorcher, shade temperatures reached 27°C, however in the sun it felt much warmer. Yet at the same time, we were seeing pictures of La Palma covered in a layer of snow.

    Hi Queenie

We are coming to Costa Adeje next friday 25th for 1 week.
Any websites you recommend for weather forecasts?
Also can you recommend any bars/restaurants that are reasonable and child friendly?

    • I check AEmet for their weekly weather forecasts, they are the best I have found and while they may not always show exactly what is happening, each municipality is large so some part could be having the predicted weather while other parts don´t.

Bars, I don’t drink but IMO most are welcoming to children as long as they are not racing around late at night while others are wanting to watch entertainment. Restaurants, I would suggest you check out the Menu del Dia and see what offers are on, they are usually quite good, not overly large but with children they are happy for them to share your meal or have a meal between say 2 kids. Hope this helps. And by the way it was a scorcher today 🙂
