Weather 26th October 2016 – Los Cristianos/Las Americas

It is a dark and gloomy morning; the sky is full of slate grey clouds swollen with rain. It must have rained overnight as the ground is wet and while it is dry now, the scent of rain hangs in the air.

Although yesterday some areas in the island had torrential rain, here in Chayofa we had a short shower late morning, from then onwards although not tropical weather we did see quite a lot of sunshine amongst the clouds. Temperatures were a comfortable 24°C.

The following images are from Costa Adeje in the south of the island and Puerto de la Cruz in the north of the island and are taken from the webcam yesterday at 12.00, 3.00 and 5.00. These times are approximate and are at whatever is the nearest before or after the hour.

Las Americas, South Tenerife

Puerto de la Cruz, North Tenerife
