I opened my eyes and let the daylight flood in. Breathing in the fresh air and feeling it on my face is a tonic after the oppressive heat of the past couple of days. Blue skies, and no wind, don’t think I need a crystal ball to predict we will have another fine day
Yesterday the blistering heat continued, it seems to be getting hotter than at the height of summer. So hot it was almost intolerable and the air was stifling. Even in the deepest shade it was still 30°C and by the evening there was little respite.
The following images are from Costa Adeje in the south of the island and Puerto de la Cruz in the north of the island and are taken from the webcam yesterday at 12.00, 3.00 and 5.00. These times are approximate and are at whatever is the nearest before or after the hour.
