Boring I know but there is little to say except it is another beautiful day, with a clear blue sky and the sun just starting to cast long shadows on Mount Guaza. Temperatures are currently 21°C.
In the sultry heat of yesterday afternoon, a butterfly beat its wings so sharply it looked as if it was being worked by a tiny electrical current. The sea shone like a molten mirror, and there was no cooling breeze or cloud to block the sun. I thought this was supposed to be October!
The new webcam overlooking Paseo San Telmo in Puerto de la Cruz has finally come into operation. I have been waiting and checking for several weeks, but the wait is finally over. However, what’s all that about on TripAdvisor? One minute the folks are saying ignore the weather forecasts and watch the webcam, but if the image doesn’t suit they say you can’t trust webcams.
