We had an early walk and watched the sun rise and cast deep shadows on the mountains. It was perfect, pleasantly cool and not a cloud in sight. I suspect that is going to change, nothing to do with weather forecasts, just that my two girls are having their coats cut this morning. They have suffered the past couple of weeks with all that hair in this heat so once stripped bare it will be sod’s law the weather will cool down. 😦
By 11.00 am yesterday morning, the cloud had cleared and as usual the sun was shining. Temperatures continued to rise throughout the day to 30°C. Despite the Spanish weatherman saying there is a small chance of rain, and the person on TripAdvisor saying we are due to get the tail-end of hurricane Matthew, we certainly haven’t seen any signs in Arona, – the weather since returning from Greece has been lovely.
