This low-difficulty walk of just 3 kilometres follows footpath 14 of the Teide National Park. The walk starts at the El Portillo crossroads, at the junction between TF-21 and TF-24 from La Orotava and La Esperanza, respectively. From there, the path leads to Mount Guamaso, a stunning volcanic cone which opens towards the north of the island, allowing us to survey a beautiful view of the Orotava Valley or, on many days, the impressive sea of clouds. It is recommended that you visit this spot to contemplate the sunset. After skirting the cone, the walk ends at kilometre point 42.3 of the TF-24 road, from where we return to the starting point.
