Woke up just before dawn feeling so cold that I had to pull the duvet up round the ears. Now, however, the morning has broken and it is ideal for a quick walk before breakfast. Temperatures at 9.00am are 22°C and the sun is shining.
Yesterday was very mixed, mostly sunny but with a few clouds and at one time there was an edge to the breeze, so much so I changed into the dreaded ‘onesy’. Then by teatime temperatures were almost hitting 30°C so the girls walk had to be delayed until it once again cooled down.
The forecast for next week looks rather mixed with cloud most days and a chance of rain here in the south tomorrow and although it is missing the north, their turn comes later in the week when there is a 55-75% chance of rain on Thursday and Friday.
