From 16 – 18 September Garachico hosts the fifth edition of ‘gastronomic landscape’, an event that includes cooking demonstrations, exhibits, cocktails, and a full program of activities.
At this annual culinary event, attendees will have the opportunity to savour tapas from each of the seven islands.
Three renowned professionals will provide culinary demonstrations. Sergio Fernandez, del Canal Cocina, accompanied by Chef Santi Evangelista, will be on Friday 16th from 19.30 in la glorieta de San Francisco.
On Saturday at 12.00, outside Casa de Piedra a demonstration by Rafa Centeno, of restaurant Maruja Limón, which has a Michelin star. The chef will be accompanied by the sommelier of Bodegas Marba.
The last show will be by another Michelin star chef, Marc Gascons, of El Tinars restaurant, who will give a cooking demonstration on the esplanade of Muelle Viejo accompanied by brew master of Dorado, Felix Guío.
On Saturday 17th, from 21.00 hours, in la glorieta de San Francisco the V Canary Tapas Contest, a competition in which participating chefs of the seven islands offer tapas from each islands local produce.
The Feast of Tenerife Wines closes the event on Sunday 18th
