It is a sunny Sunday morning with temperatures already a whopping 26°C and the only sound is the tinkling of cutlery as next door sit outside eating their full German breakfast.
After the cloudy start to yesterday, by mid-morning the sun had broken through and come 1.00pm normal weather had resumed, that is to say hot and sunny. There was also a breeze that made it feel very comfortable. Temperatures didn´t rise above 30°C in the shade and we had a spectacular sunset.
Next week’s forecast is showing it could be quite a bit cloudier in Puerto de la Cruz with up to an 80% chance of rain from Wednesday to Saturday, while the south of the island around Arona and Adeje is expected to see a few cloudy intervals most days and temperatures dropping to a reasonable 25°C
The following images are from Costa Adeje in the south of the island and Puerto de la Cruz in the north of the island and are taken from the webcam yesterday at 12.00, 3.00 and 5.00. These times are approximate and are at whatever is the nearest before or after the hour.
