First I have to apologise to those visiting the island because I woke this morning to a very heavy sky with hardly a break in it and NO sunshine. My immediate thought was hooray might we have a sprinkling of rain, it has been so long. However, as time has passed the cloud is slowly breaking up, temperatures are 21°C and the weakest of suns is starting to show its face.
The webcam pictures make the north also look quite cloudy – perhaps the ‘northern weather-girl’ can confirm whether or not this is so. If that is the case it could be a slightly cooler weekend all over the island.
Yesterday ever so slightly cooler than it has been at 31°C. Last night we ate in town with friends, the evenings are still nice and warm and no need for anything other than thin tops and bare arms even quite late.
The following images are from Costa Adeje in the south of the island and Puerto de la Cruz in the north of the island and are taken from the webcam yesterday at 12.00, 3.00 and 5.00. These times are approximate and are at whatever is the nearest before or after the hour.

Puerto de la Cruz, North Tenerife
