XXXI Pinolere Craft Fair 2016, one of the most important regional fairs in the Canary Islands, will take place in the northern corner of Tenerife at the and Ethnographic Park and will represent a fusion between craft and creative culinary world of the islands.
The Fair will feature 220 artisans from all of the islands in the archipelago. The organizers have prepared an extensive program of events that will be offered throughout the weekend, but the theme around which all will rotate this year will be: the Canary contemporary ceramics.
It also aims to link to the creative cuisine of the Canary Islands, as many artisans work for prestigious chefs and Michelin stars. For example Gonzalo ceramista said Martin Suarez performs exclusive pieces for Berasategui. So, for this new edition there is to be at the fair renowned chefs to showcase their creative live cooking a perfect symbiosis of crafts and food.
The entrance to the Fair and Pinolere Ethnographic Park will be priced at €2.50, however for the first time this year advance ticket will be on sales at the reduced price of €2. They may be purchased at Pinolere Cultural Association and the Tasca El Valle (next to the Municipal Tourist Office of La Orotava). Also in Puerto de la Cruz at La Ranilla Espacio Artesano en la calle Mequinez.
As in previous years, to facilitate access to the fair free transportation from the center of La Orotava will be offered for those who want it.
