The end of another month and last night was extremely hot making it hard to sleep. The sky is still dark but temperatures are already 24°C. The yellow alert has been taken down for Tenerife so temperatures may fall a degree or two but it is doubtful whether we will notice it too much.
Yesterday we continue to sizzle in the blistering heat. Under the dusty skies of the calima, we watched as the thermometer climb to 37C in the shade and 47C in full sun.
The following images are from Costa Adeje in the south of the island and Puerto de la Cruz in the north of the island and are taken from the webcam yesterday at 12.00, 3.00 and 5.00. These times are approximate and are at whatever is the nearest before or after the hour.
