17:00 to 21:00 Craft workshops with a marine theme.
20:30 Seafood Tastings.

12:00 to 23:00 Photo exhibition “Fishing in Arona.”
19:00 to 20:00 Show Cooking with octopus and tastings.
21:15 Video presentation to workers in the sector.
21:45 Musical performance: Jeita.

Cestos y Bollos Santa Barbara – 27th August

Icod de los Vinos

One of those rare celebrations that keep traditions alive thanks to the involvement of residents. Marriageable girls carry the buns, as an offering to Saint Barbara and the rest of the neighbours carry huge baskets, of fruits from the harvest.

Romería de San Agustín – 27th August


Good music, good food, and good Canarian wine, accompany the saint in this folk festival that was declared of national interest in 1983. A parade in the purest Canarian style ends the festivities

End of Sansofé – 27th August

9:00 Plaza de El Medano. Activity Environmental Awareness of Spanish Red Cross.
18:00 Plaza de Los Abrigos. Foam party with animation.
21:00 Plaza de El Medano Closure Sansofé 2016, with concert Ruts y La Isla Music.


XXVI Feria de Artesanía – 27th August

Vilaflor de Chasna

This traditional fair will feature different artisans from Tenerife amongst which will be stands showing the lace of Vilaflor, needlepoint, Venetian point, and also fine macramé. The fair is open from 10.00 to 18.00
