It may be early but the sky is heavy and almost as dark as night. As I peer over my balcony, a screen of cloud dominates with not even a transitory patch of blue. Yesterday, the south of the islands had clear skies and plenty of sunshine all day. There was a breeze strong at times and temperatures were between 26°C and 31°C. Looking at the webcams it looks as if the north experienced a few cloudy spells.
The following images are from Costa Adeje in the south of the island and Puerto de la Cruz in the north of the island and are taken from the webcam yesterday at 12.00, 3.00 and 5.00. These times are approximate and are at whatever is the nearest before or after the hour.
