Another hot night but a glorious morning, the sun is shining in a postcard-perfect sky and temperatures are 26°, so continuing to be hot 😦
After a clear Saturday morning, at 1.00 the thick dusty air started coming in and temperatures were 36°C in the shade but feeling more like 46°C. At one point a strong wind blew up, but it didn’t last long before moving on. We closed the doors and put on the fans and the girls sat under them. Thank goodness for the morning walk, they didn´t want to move come evening, so just had a short stroll to Pooh Mountain!
Next week’s forecast here in the South, one days respite before heating up again toward the end of the week. Puerto de la Cruz similar story just a little more cloud and slightly lower temperatures, but nothing in it.
The following images are from Costa Adeje in the south of the island and Puerto de la Cruz in the north of the island and are taken from the webcam yesterday at 12.00, 3.00 and 5.00. These times are approximate and are at whatever is the nearest before or after the hour.
