As part of the project ‘Immerse yourself in Santa Cruz’ initiated by Cepsa, the neighborhood of El Toscal today received a new artistic mural. The inauguration of the work, which decorates the wall of 20 Calle Santiago was attended by the artist Ione Dominguez, Director of Cepsa Canary Islands José Manuel Fernández Sabugo, Councillor of Culture for Santa Cruz, Jose Carlos Acha, the coordinator of the project, Iker Muro and the president of the community who gave one of the walls of the building for the execution of the work, Diego Melgosa.
Cepsa Director thanked the community for the willingness they had shown to accommodate this magnificent work by a local artist. José Carlos Acha said it is a “magnificent work which changes the appearance of the street and will make it a place to visit for residents and tourists”.
This mural is added, to the dozen that already exists in the center of the city under the `Immerse yourself in Santa Cruz’, urban art project which Cepsa contributes to beautify the capital of Tenerife, by adding value to spaces and walls and reaffirming the company’s commitment to the cultural revitalization of the city, as part of its corporate responsibility policy.
Soon will begin work on a new mural, which will be located in calle Carmen Monteverde
