It is so hot! 8.30 and it is 24°C, just the hint of low cloud on the horizon with La Gomera peeking through.
I wonder how long it will last, but with the yellow alert that is now showing not only rough seas but also high winds that could gust up to 75km/h hopefully these will help the thermometer to fall a few degrees.
High temperatures continued all day Monday with shade temperatures once again over 30°C and naturally in the sun over 40°C. The weather even seemed to play havoc with the ferry. I don’t know what happened but he sat in the middle of the Atlantic, halfway between Los Cristianos and La Gomera for a long time before he decided to turn back.
