Weather 11th July 2016, Tenerife South

It is a sunny morning, and already 23°C, just a couple of fluffy clouds high in the sky, and it looks as if it is going to continue along the same lines for the rest of the day.  The south coast is on a Yellow Alert for high and rough seas and these will continue until Wednesday, so be careful while trying to cool off that you don’t go out too far.

Yesterday was another hot and steamy day.  Temperatures averaged 26°C in the shade with a couple of highs of 32°C.  It was nice to get to the coast as there was the slightest of breezes but it was very welcoming.

The southern webcam we have been following for a few weeks went off-line yesterday evening and is not back online so we have had to go back to using the one in Adeje.

The following images are from Costa Adeje in the south of the island and Puerto de la Cruz in the north of the island and are taken from the webcam yesterday at 12.00, 3.00 and 5.00. These times are approximate and are at whatever is the nearest before or after the hour.
