Celebrations in honour of San Jose in Cabo Blanco

City of Arona encourages you to attend the celebration of the “Festival in honour of San Jose in Cabo Blanco 2016 “, where popular and religious events will be held from 7 to 10 April this year.

The programme is as follows

Thursday, 07 April
20:30 hours. Grand Gala to choose the Child Queen of the Festival. Ballet performances Chayofa/Camella Dance Academy. Say Yes, the magic of José Foronda and Magnolia singer. Location: Recinto Ferial next to the Health Centre.

Friday, 08 April
18:00. Children’s Festival 20:00. Location: Recinto Ferial next to the Health Centre.
Boxing Evening. Entry 2€. With the entry a raffle for a leg of ham. Location: Terrero fighting Cabo Blanco. Organizers: Municipal Sports.
23:00. Dance with music from New Illusion. Location: Recinto Ferial next to the Health Centre.

Saturday, 09 April
17:00. Classic car display. Location: Recinto Ferial next to the Health Centre.
18:00. Zumba Master Class with Patricia Chiquiar. Location: Fairgrounds, esplanade next to the Health Centre.
At the end: Grand Canyon foam party Location: Recinto Ferial next to the Health Centre.
23:00. Dancing to Pasión Gomera y Deliciosa Location: Recinto Ferial next to the Health Centre.

Sunday April 10
10:00. Craft and food show. Location: Recinto Ferial next to the Health Centre.
10.15. Mass the third Sunday of Easter remembering San Jose. Location: San Martin de Porres Parish Church.
13:30. Great Food, Plate 1€. With performances of children’s AF Parrandita, students Canario Dance Academy dance Dile Que Si and Al Sur.
17:00. Dancing to Pasión Gomera y Deliciosa Location: Recinto Ferial next to the Health Centre.
20:00. Mass in honour of San Jose, with the participation of St. Lawrence Martyr parish choir. Location: San Martin de Porres Parish Church. At the end: Procession with the venerated image accompanied by the Band of Arona.
The dance continues once the procession is complete.
At the end: Firework display.
