If you love paintings and fancy taking a stroll along the sea-front of Los Cristianos, make a date to pop into the Swedish Church. The always popular Swallows Art Exhibition is taking place for one week from Saturday, February 20th until Saturday, February 28th.
Please note the exact times as they do differ ie Saturday 10am to 4pm, Monday 10am to 2pm, Tues, Wed, Thurs 10am to 7pm. Fri 10am to 2pm and the final Saturday, 10 am to 1pm.
The exhibition has a variety of paintings by members and though they may be amateur, their work is of a very high standard and much sought after. They paint varying subjects such as beautiful floral artwork, still life and portraits as well as dramatic landscapes of corners of the island that might otherwise be forgotten.
Artists work in watercolours, oils and acrylics and pastels showing their dedication and enjoyment of painting.The Art group meet every Thursday morning in Los Cristianos when beginners and artists of all standards join together for a friendly artistic day. They venture out each week painting and sketching in all art disciplines.They have recently welcomed new members to the group . If you feel tempted to join them, do visit the exhibition and meet some of the artists who will certainly give you a warm welcome and encouragement.

All the paintings are for sale so take time to view the work. There is no obligation to buy, just come and be inspired. Who knows you may have a chance to purchase a future masterpiece or paint one of your own.
Admission is FREE. Everyone is welcome.

The Swedish church is called Casa Sueca, located right on the sea front by the main beach. Walk from the centre of Los Cristianos towards the harbour, turn left when you reach the main beach and it’s a third of the way along the seafront . The Art Exhibition is well sign posted to invite passersby to enter.
