Miss Sur Gala

Following the suspension of  “Miss South” Gala by weather issues, the City of Adeje has reached agreement with Magma Arts & Congress for holding the event, which will take place on Saturday, November 28 from 20:00 hours and admission is free and the venue can take about 2,000 people.

Mayor, José Miguel Rodríguez Fraga has said on several occasions that “Miss Sur is a unique event and the aim is to promote a modern image of the south of the island of Tenerife and the growing interest of a relevant sector such as fashion and entertainment related to it. ”  Rodríguez Fraga explained that “we support Miss Sur because it’s different, candidates are not only an aesthetic element, they represent the current real, dynamic women, who studies and works to achieve and continuously improve on what they want.

Sandro Pergola, director of Miss Sur has indicated that it is not a simple, conventional beauty contest. “Miss Sur is different to other competitions and has reinvented the way of organizing such events. It has a number of features to traditional beauty contests, in your line of work with applicants, for the multitude of actions . extending during the month prior to the show


There are a total of 22 applicants from different towns in the south of Tenerife and representing private companies and municipalities.  In order of appearance the contestants are:

13 Alejandra Gil – Centro comercial Gran Sur
14 Milagro Reyes – Flipper Uno
15 Daimara Ester Hernández – Restaurante Otelo
16 Victoria Domenech – Censadent
