Maritime Procession of the Virgen de la Encarnación

The procession, to La Caleta commemorates  the arrival of the Virgin to the coast of Adeje.

18:00. Fañabe Church Departure of the Virgin of the Incarnation from Fañabé to Puerto Colón.

The organisers calculate the maritime procession will leave Puerto Colón at about 8pm on Saturday evening.

With the arrival of the procession at La Enramada beach La Caleta, there will be a light and sound show.

Then the torchlight procession continues to San Sebastian where mass will be sung by the School of Folklore of Adeje in the shrine, the place where the ‘Virgin’ appeared, and which is worshipped as the place where the conversion to Christianity of Adeje began.

Then the statue will be transferred back to the church and there will be an open event in the square with music from “The Mesturao”.
