New flights will connect Amsterdam to Tenerife twice a week

Fair Netherlands

The airline Easyjet will start from October two weekly connections between Amsterdam and Tenerife South Airport. The president of the Island Council, Carlos Alonso, said “this route will help to consolidate our presence in a country where we are developing outstanding promotional activities”.

Alonso said that the flights with Easyjet for the winter season are in addition to those already operating on the island via Ryanair, ArkeFly (TUI group), or Corendon Transavia who fly to Maastricht or Eindhoven. Visitors from the Netherlands rate as seventh by country with 137,000 tourists visiting in 2014.

This year, developments by Turismo de Tenerife in the Netherlands have been numerous. These include raising presence in social networks (Facebook, Instagram etc …) in Dutch. A campaign with Travel Magazine (the most important magazine in the Netherlands tourism sector).  Actions also focus on brands like No Limits Tenerife and Tenerife Select.
