Month long celebrations in Adeje

Once every five years Adeje celebrates the Fiestas Lustrales de Nuestra Señora de la Encarnación, and preparations are underway arranging for the Virgin’s statue to visit all the towns and villages in the different parts of the borough.


Events will take place from 28th August until 4th October and will include as well as the solemn religious proceedings fun for all the family including plays, musical concerts, sports activities, sound and light shows and of course fireworks. Neighbourhood visits will take place on the following dates

Sept 6 – 12 La Hoya, Tijoco Bajo, La Concepción and Tijoco Alto. Sept 13 – 19 Armeñime, El Puertito, Playa Paraíso, Callao Salvaje, Marazul, Las Rosas and Los Menores.
Sept 20 – 26 Los Olivos, Las Nieves, el Galeón, Las Moraditas, Taucho, La Quinta, Las Torres, La Postura and La Viña.
Sept 27 – Oct 2 La Caleta, Fañabé, Miraverde, Puerto Colón and Costa Adeje.
